Hi all,

HKDC is launching a new program: Overseas Hong Konger City Forum (海外港人城市論壇）. The City Forum will be a community event, as well as a research project.

點解HKDC要搞城市論壇？

在後運動與後國安法時期，香港人於過去幾年處於混沌、適應與整頓之間，需面對無數未有答案的問題：何謂「光復」？光復後的香港該實行什麼政體及經濟體？海外港人如何達自光復及理想的香港？如何與香港本地社會保持連結？

在共同尋找答案的路途上，HKDC並非要為大眾提供答案，也不認為幾次小組式會談的結論能夠代表各人意向。但在各人尋求路向時，或各想法尋求支持時，政治討論空間必不可少。因此，HKDC會擔任協調與組織者，希望可以來建立更多面對面的溝通空間，從而引起未來更廣泛的討論及更目標鮮明的行動與實踐。

HKDC會繼續在美國港人的社區中建立不同溝通與行動空間，以增強港人政治力量，為香港未來帶來正面影響。

Our first City Forum will be in New York City on March 26. For this time, we are grateful to receive support and help from NY4HK, Lion Rock Cafe, and NYU HKSAG. Please encourage friends who are in New York to join the City Forum. They can use the following link to register for the event and read the security protocols.
