BC FERRIES AWARDED $1 BILLION* CONTRACT TO CCP-STATE-OWNED CORP

BC Ferries is essentially transferring our tax dollars to the ССР !!!

On June 10, 2025, BC Ferries signed a deal (*est. $1 Billion CAD) with a Chinese Communists State-owned Weihai Shipyards to build 4 new vessels between 2026 - 2031

NOTE - BC TAXPAYERS PROVIDE
$500 million to BC Ferries (announced on Feb. 26, 2023). This is on top of the Province's annual service fee to BC
Ferries (over $194 million just in the last fiscal year!!!!!).

Nicholas Jimenez (BC Ferries CEO) has defended by saying that there were no Canadian companies that applied for the project.

Vancouver-based shipbuilder Seaspan said: "Canadian shipyards and their supply chains cannot compete with low-wage countries that have lower employment, environmental and safety standards."

Premier Eby says he will not ask B.C. Ferries to reconsider contract with Chinese state-owned shipyard .

China CCP has a record of money laundering, interference into our elections and arming Russia in its invasion of Ukraine

China CCP has been suppressing dissent, limiting freedom of expression, restricting worker rights and has low environmental standards

What about Canadians' security concerns?
What about Made in Canada and jobs for Canadians?
What about trading with a country whose values are in line with that of Canada?
What about caring for workers' rights?
What about caring for the environment?

Note - BC Government (provincial
Crown) is the sole shareholder of BC Ferries, although it is organized as an independent, no share capital corporation.
