上周日（26日），倫敦港人聯合英國工會「工人反對中共」（Workers against the CCP）趁「香港民主派47人初選案」踏入結案陳詞的前一個週末，在中國駐英國大使館外舉行集會，要求香港政府釋放所有被告，停止政治打壓。
集會在英國時間下午三時舉行，包括約一百名英港人及本地人人參加。現場有人高叫「釋放所有香港政治犯」口號及舉起「釋放梁國雄」等標語。
